  • Freddy Riofrio

    Department Manager, 3rd Party Evaluations

    Freddy is an experienced project manager with an impeccable record of effective and timely project completion, client satisfaction, and strong desire to excel in his profession. Freddy started his career in the building envelope industry in 2011. Freddy and his team facilitate 3rd party Code Compliance Evaluations and assist with Test Program Development in support of said evaluations. Freddy has a long and respected relationship with NEMO|cert., ICC Evaluation Services, Miami-Dade BCCO, IAPMO UES and Texas Department of Insurance (among others). He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

    Responsibilities

    • Management of 3rd Party Evaluations Department, its projects and its staff.
    • Marketing of NEMO services.
    • Standards development.
    • Liaison with NEMO|cert. and NEMO|etc.’s other departments.
    • Liaison with other accredited certification entities, evaluation entities and testing laboratories.
    • Project management.
    • Staff training and mentoring.

  • Luis Cadena, EIT

    Evaluations Lead, Evaluations Specialist III

    Luis started his career in the building envelope industry in 2008. Luis’ experience and knowledge led him to his current position as Department Manager of NEMO Evaluations. Luis is developing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and overseeing the implementation thereof for this relatively new department and, in tandem with NEMO|cert., disseminates and collates evidence in support of NEMO Evaluation Reports (NER’s). Luis also assists in Test Program Development and P.E. Evaluation Reports (PEER’s). Luis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a CS certification.
